![]() They have an awesome interactive children's garden that the kids LOVE. We went at least once per month (sometimes twice). Let's see, we pay $80 a year for a family membership to Frederik Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids. I totally disagree with the statements made by the company on another review that there are few places around that cheap for kids for entertainment. That's $40+ to $60+ for our family for one time. ![]() I just can't bring myself to pay $10 or more per child ($15 on glow night if you count rental) plus bouncy house and add ons. ![]() At the prices charged here it is a once or twice a year thing, at best. But, i do believe we wont ever be back here. All in all, I'm certain we spent way more than the average person who attends the jumpin' Jupiter skate will ever spend in a year. And, the kids pretty much spent their entire allowance there. Monday's are free with only a $2 skate rental fee (used to be only $1). Back home at our skating facility (Kentwood Fun Spot), we have NEVER paid more than $5 per child rental skates included. If you want the bouncy play area, that's another $3 per person. Admission for the 3rd child was an astronomical $6, then on top of that there is the skate rental fee of $4 or $5. Two of my four children received free admission passes so we thought we'd try it out and get to know the area. We just moved here from Wyoming (Grand Rapids, MI area). That is insane! For what? What value is in those hard benches worth $6? There is NO WAY I am paying full admission price for my child to not skate. I have a child who is grounded and unable to skate. I am currently sitting in my car waiting for my family to finish their skating session. ![]()
